I’m so happy to have discovered such a cute and charming place! The food was delicious, and I absolutely loved the atmosphere. Most of all, everyone was so kind and welcoming, which made our visit comfortable and enjoyable. We had such a lovely time and will definitely be back again! 😊💕

I have been wanting to try this small family owned restaurant for a while, and a friend and I were finally able to get there for lunch! First a note - Chisholm Trail Rd is being worked on and the side with the restaurant is totally blocked off. You have to drive around to the street behind the restaurant (Galloping Rd). They have a small parking area in back of the restaurant, but it's hard to get back out of there if you have a bigger car! We parked on the street. Our server was excellent (and very kind also!). Unlike many bigger restaurants, Papi's had wonderful teas from Forte, along with Forte's tea set! They also had much better caffeine free herbal options than many other places! I had ginger lemongrass (herbal) and my friend chose Cherry Blossom green tea. The water was piping hot (as it should be - I'm a bit of a tea snob). Lovely way to start the meal! For lunch, we ordered the Quiche Florentine and Quiche Poblano. The Poblano was GF. Both were vegetarian. Both came with a side salad. Everything arrived hot, and the salad was fresh (not wilted). The place was really cute and petite!!! The bathroom was really pretty too! The interior is really pretty and had a lot of cherry designs, and the outside had tons of flower patterns. I really loved the food. I got a Nutella crepe which was absolutely delicious, and my friend got a Reubin Tartine that was also very tasty!!! We did wait like 20-30 mins but it was SUPER worth it. I 100% recommend this place and I am definitely going again soon!

Papi’s Pies in Round Rock is one of those little gems you’re happy to stumble upon. I’ve been there twice now, and each visit gave me that cozy “grandma’s kitchen” feeling that’s hard to find these days. One thing that really stood out—surprisingly—was the coffee. It’s genuinely great and absolutely worth mentioning, which isn’t always the case at places like this. Pair that with their fresh pies, and you’ve got a really comforting, satisfying experience. The pies taste homemade, fresh, and full of flavor, exactly what you’d hope for from a place like this. I also tried some of their sandwiches, and they gave off that small-town café vibe—simple, comforting, and well-made. Overall, the food quality was solid across the board. One note: I didn’t rate the crepes on the menu because they’re pre-made and reheated. Personally, I prefer crepes made fresh to order, so that part just wasn’t for me. As for logistics, I’d definitely recommend parking in the back—it makes things a lot easier. Overall, Papi’s Pies is a cozy, welcoming spot with great coffee, fresh pies, and a relaxing atmosphere that makes you want to come back.

Just had one of the best meals stops in Round Rock at Papi’s Pies. The menu is loaded with craveable French bistro classics that get a fun Mexican twist, and everything we tried was spot-on. Service was genuinely great. Super friendly and fast. The vibe is chill. The menu has something for everyone: veggie, keto, meat lovers. Nothing felt overpriced. Already planning round two for the Salteñas. Highly recommend. Go now.
